Despite Juno appearing alongside the official Alphas in the AJ Birthday Party, per a reply by the official Animal Jam Instagram, Juno is not an Alpha but simply an ancient hero.Hops side-to-side, turns slightly to the right and scratches its ears.Entering "JUNO" as a code would gift the player a Hidden Juno Statue before the code expired. They have a set of furniture as well as a set of armor dedicated to them, which can both be purchased in the Temple of the Ancients.Juno is the only non-alpha to be shown in their animal form (as opposed to only being seen as a statue). In a later post, the same writer stated that they "see Juno as not identifying with a particular gender." In subsequent emails, AJ support staff have stated that "Juno doesn't identify with a particular gender." However, AJHQ has not publicly confirmed these gender details. In the notes left by the Alphas at the Temple of the Ancients as well as in the Jamaa Journal, Juno is referred to using the pronouns "them" and "themself" as opposed to "she/he", "her/him", or "herself/himself." A writer for AJ posted on their personal Instagram account saying that this is because Juno is a nonbinary character.Their name may also come from Juneau, the capital city of Alaska. They could be named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage and queen of the Olympians however, this has not been confirmed. They have gentle, slightly squinted, pure white eyes and a long snout with a rectangular nose. They have rectangular-like markings all over their body and eye patches on each side of their face that resemble black eyeliner. Juno is a thick-furred, muscular arctic wolf. On August 16, 2018, the Jamaa Journal revealed the Arctic Wolf statue in the Temple of the Ancients to be Juno themself, turned to stone as the result of years spent trapped in the Temple. Juno was first seen as a statue at the AJ Birthday Party and has yet to make an appearance in the Adventures. Juno is an ancient hero of the Arctic Wolves.
